Why Traveling With a Group Might Be the Best Decision You Make This Year

There is something powerful about booking a trip on your own. You choose the destination. You pick the dates. You build the itinerary. But there is something even more powerful about traveling with the right group of women.
Over the years, I have traveled solo, with my daughter, with friends, and with organized groups. Every experience has been meaningful in its own way. But group travel, especially with women who are open to connection, creates a different kind of magic.
You are never alone in the planning
Let’s be honest. Planning an international trip can feel overwhelming. Flights. Transfers. Hotels. Excursions. Cultural expectations. Safety. Currency. Travel insurance. The list keeps going.
When you travel with a group that is already organized, that stress disappears. The itinerary is thoughtfully curated. The logistics are handled. You know where you are staying. You know how you are getting there. You have support before you even leave home.
Instead of worrying, you get to focus on the experience.
It feels safer.
This is something many women think about but do not always say out loud. Traveling somewhere like Morocco can feel exciting and a little intimidating at the same time.
Going with a group changes everything.
You land together. You explore together. You have local guides. You have built in transportation. You have someone to share a cab with. Someone to walk back to the riad with. Someone to laugh with when you get lost in the souks.
Confidence grows when you are not navigating it alone.
Built-in friendships
Some of the strongest connections I have seen happen on group trips. There is something about stepping outside of your routine and into a new country that opens people up.
You share meals. You share stories. You take photos for each other. You celebrate birthdays. You support each other when someone tries something brave for the first time.
Many women join a trip not knowing anyone and leave with lifelong friends.
You experience more than you would on your own
When you travel independently, you often stick to what feels comfortable. The main sights. The popular restaurants. The easy path.
With a group, especially one that is intentionally curated, you often experience more depth. Cultural workshops. Local connections. Hidden spots. Moments that are harder to access on your own.
It is not just sightseeing. It is immersion.
You still have freedom
One of the biggest misconceptions about group travel is that every minute is scheduled. That is not how I design trips.
There is structure and there is breathing room. Time to explore the market on your own. Time to relax at the riad. Time to wander into a café that catches your eye.
The difference is that you always have the option to join back with the group.
Who group travel is perfect for
The woman who wants to travel but does not have an interested partner.
The woman who is newly single and ready to rediscover herself.
The woman whose friends cannot get the same time off.
The woman who wants to feel supported while exploring somewhere new.
The woman who simply wants to say yes to herself this year.
If any of that resonates, group travel might be exactly what you need.
Why Morocco
Morocco is vibrant, layered, colorful, and unforgettable. From the energy of Marrakech to the stillness of the desert, it is a place that awakens your senses.
It is also a destination that feels much more comfortable with the right support and guidance.
That is exactly why I am hosting a women’s group trip there this June. It is designed to feel safe, connected, culturally rich, and genuinely fun.
You can come solo and you will not feel alone.
If you have been watching from the sidelines, wondering if this is for you, maybe this is your sign.

Sometimes the hardest part is saying yes. After that, everything changes.
If Morocco is not your dream destination, that is completely okay. We have other group trips coming up and more being planned. From European river cruises to Christmas markets to Ireland and beyond, there is always something on the horizon. I truly love designing trips around what women are craving. If you are reading this and thinking I wish someone would organize a trip to insert your destination, tell me. I want to hear where you want to go next.
