Day 1: Arrival in Leavenworth
Fly into Seattle Airport (SEA)
Take the airport metro to King's Station, then hop on the Amtrak train to Leavenworth.
Upon arrival, take a local Leavenworth taxi to your hotel.
Tips:
Download the Amtrak app for updates on your ride. If the train is canceled, consider bus options via Greyhound.
King's Station offers bag storage, giving you time to explore and grab something to eat.
If arriving late or early in Leavenworth, you can wait in the heated cabin at the train stop.
Day 2: Reindeer Farm & Christmas Wonderland
11:00 AM: Visit the Reindeer Farm – meet the reindeer, feed them, and even take a photo with Santa!
Afterward, take a taxi to explore the town's whimsical shops and indulge in a pretzel and beer at Munchen Haus.
Visit the Nutcracker Museum in the afternoon.
End the day with a stroll through the town, admiring the stunning Christmas lights and decorations.
Tips:
Be patient with the Leavenworth Taxi Co. – no Ubers or Lyfts are in town.
Make reservations for everything, from taxi rides to dining.
Visit the Reindeer Farm in the morning, as the reindeer are most active.

Spend the afternoon skiing or sledding on the town slope.

If the main sleigh ride company is booked, try Icicles Outfitters for a fun and informative experience.

Day 4: Last Day in Leavenworth
Start your day with a hearty breakfast at Louie’s Café.
Do some last-minute souvenir shopping and take one final walk through the town.
Head back to Seattle by Amtrak or bus. You should arrive in Seattle by dinnertime!
Tips:
Check train and bus schedules in advance. If your train is canceled, the bus is a good alternative. Be aware that road closures can cause delays, so plan accordingly.
Avoid booking a flight out of Seattle for the same evening.
Day 5: Explore Seattle
Pike Place Market is a must-see for local food, shopping, and iconic fish-throwing!
After lunch, visit the Space Needle and explore the fascinating Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum.
If time allows, consider spending an extra day or two in Seattle. There’s plenty to see, from its vibrant neighborhoods to waterfront attractions.
